<td align="left"> Dear Mr. Malfoy,
Happy Christmas! I hope this letter finds you in good health and spirits. As it is the holiday season, I took the liberty of adressing it to your parent's home, and hope that it does not pose any inconvenience.
The traditional gifts of the season are undoubtedly a bottle of wine or a watch of some sort. But I was quite sure you posess ample quantities of both, and so decided to find something a bit more original.
The painting, as I'm sure you know, is Monet's Meule, effet de neige, le matin. As in most paintings of the Impressionist style, I found the portrayal of light to be very beautiful. It is a bit reminiscent of winters in the country- certainly not the grey ones of London. Silly as it may sound, paintings of this sort have always seemed soothing and peaceful to me, and I hope it has that same effect on you.
It proves that there is always some color in the darkest of winter days, does it not?
Sincerely,
Narcissa Cassiopeia Black
