Thank Merlin, most of my Christmas shopping is done, of course with the exceptions of Bella and Lucius. They're ridiculously hard to shop for. It was much easier when I was younger and under the impression that they would love anything I would love for myself.

Bella possibilities- Jewelry (would have to be very abnormal); something for that kneazle?

Lucius- Borgin & Burkes? Knockturn in general; Something imported

There was some news yesterday about Dumbledore taking lepers in. Honestly. That's about as bad as the mudbloods. But at least mudbloods aren't contagious... And though I occasionally miss Professor Slughorn's marvelous parties, this is one time I am very glad to be out of school. Uncle Orion of course came over and shouted about how he doesn't want his son and heir anywhere near lepers (as if we could do anything!) and it took nearly a quarter of an hour for Maman and Papa to calm him down.

Other than that, things are relatively normal around here. The elves have most of the decorations up, and the place looks lovely. All the usual guests are in and out for their holiday visits. Aunt and Uncle Rosier came this morning, and I believe we're expecting the Montagues in the afternoon.

Childish as it may seem, I love Christmas and am quite excited for it.
